    Oh well.

We went to have Dory's picture made, and they are pretty good. Not outstanding, but good enough. However, when we went in we had the handmade cute as a button scarf I just spoke of inthe last post. When we came out, we didn't. I even retraced all of our steps and I don't have a clue where it went, but I know it is not with us. I am so saddened and angry about it. We have everything else, even the 4 loose socks!!! I don't get it. At least I know how to make a second one... I just don't want to have to do that. I want the one I already made. I went back to every store and asked mulitple people... nothing. It is totally ruined my day. I can't even be excited about the good pictures of Dory. >:(

Well, maybe just a little... they were cute!

    Just another Monday

Well, just barely. I have Dory's 22 month pictures and babysitting lined up for later today. I hope all goes well, as I am sure it will.

I went to Target yestarday.. and they no longer carry Dory's diapers... and they are Pampers! I don't get it!?! Have they been discontinued? Why would such a great store up and all of the sudden discontinue such great diapers? I guess this means that I really should move on to potty training or the new diapers that I bought the other day. Little G diapers... they are flushable or compostable! So far, we have flushed several with no ill effects to our household sewer line. They have not clogged and seem to work really well. John wants to wait until the weather is warmer to try to compost them. http://www.gdiapers.com I would reccomend them if you have kids and care about 'sposies sitting in landfills for 500 years! They cost just a little more, but so far, I really think they are worth it.

John is out of town again, and I wish he didn't have to travel so much. I really miss him when he is gone and I don't know how Dory understands it. She doesn't seem fased by it usually. I guess she doesn't know anything else. But it bumms me out.

One of these days I will get to my scrapbooking projects... I need motivation! But now that I think about it, I did finish Dory's scarf the other day... and it is seriously cute. I should post a picture of it...

And... I am finally getting an iPod! I am pretty excited about it... A white 4g nano. Probably refurbished, since they are just as good and save a little bit.

Okay, yeah I really have nothing else to blog about. And, yes, I know I am not a great and entertaining writer. But thatnks for reading anyway!

A whole 28 years. And a decent picture!

I figure that it is only right of me to update my profile photo now that someone has taken a recent picture of me. I am usually the one behind the camera, and therefore pictures of me have become rare. This was taken about 2 weeks ago when we were celebrating my birthday. The wavy lines on the right is the heat from the 28 candles. At least they were not one big fire just yet... but I know it won't be long.

    guilty as charged...

I could say yes to at least 95% of these.

And I sucked at Oregon Trail. My family always died a horrible, horrible death on the frontier. Oh well...

And I wanted to be a Goonie more than ANYTHING! *I do the truffle shuffle with pride*

    Dory and John Dancing!!!

Dory and John are great playmates. It seems to be unusual to see two kids younger than two playing together rather than side by side. Well, they both love to dance! Press the play button and watch them go!

This doesn't like to load sometimes, so if you don't see it... I'm sorry. It is actually there, it's just your computer.

    Random Picture

How about another random picture? This was in 2004 when Dory was still about a month old. Freshly scrubbed and shining asleep on mommy's chest. She is just now really starting to snuggle again at 22 months. I love it. And... yes... her one finger is off at a crazy angle. It was her 6th finger that was attached off the side of her hand by a skin tag. It was removed in Feb of 2005. It never bothered her being polydactyly. I kinda' miss them actually.

    "Are you a rhinoceros?" -Mom

    "Yeeaahhhh!" -Dory

For months this was our favorite game. We would ask, and get a resoundingly positive answer. That is, until she saw a rhino. Now she is not so sure. She knows she is not a dog, a cat, a bird, a monkey... and usually she is not a merciful chicken. But she was always a rhino. Now, the answer is usually still yes, but it is a lot more timid!

    BFN

Negative, not even a glimmer of a pink line. But then, I tested yesterday, a few days early still. If it doesn't change there is always next month.... as long as husby quits traveling over fertile days. That really doesn't help with conception much. Long distance Baby Dancing might just be the next big thing. Now, if I could just figure out how to do it.

    Randomness

Yeah, I know the old picture is random, but when you can use your blog as a very easy picture host for other sites that take forever to get a picture onto.. well, you will just have to deal with my randomness. :)
