Dory wants to be... Elmo
Drips and dribbles of my life and the things that peak my interest... mainly the kidlets and knitting.

So, on Thursday night my Mom came over to help some with Dory. At 5 she was fine, at 7 she was sneezing and by 10 she was full fledge snotty and sick.
Came today when Dory launched herself down the stairs at 11:45am. She had on a dress, flip flops, had her purse and sunglasses and her umbrella open. I wonder why Mom always said to not open an umbrella in the house.... hummm..... Anyway, down she came. It ws so muffled that I really had no idea that is what had happened at first. It really took a minute for her to say "Mommmmyyyy" and start crying. Almost like she had surprised herself, not as if she had the wind knocked out or anything. She didn't seem to have even hurt herself at first, and then the pain hit her. Her shoulder.

So, it's been 5 months, and she's just now 3... but Dory clearly remembers when Jack was born!!!!! I was putting her to bed tonight and she and I are talking about her toy stethoscope, she claims it hurts her ears, and thay maybe we can find her a new one and she then starts to talk about babies and where they come out and pulls down her panties and points. I tell her that is where they come out, she's right and thay they grow inside and come out when they are done. (and also explained that pee and poop come from different places than babies, she seemed to get that...)
